Frolic Shawl Pattern FREE

We designed this knitting pattern & kit for a recent knitting festival (the DKC Knitter’s Frolic in Toronto) and we liked it so much we thought we should share! The Frolic Shawl is a simple & fast little project you can whip up in no time, and without using too much brain power. It’s a great project to travel with or take to the cottage.

The pattern is clear, easy to follow, simple, and gives you instructions for the increase technique. The yarn is soft, easy to work with, and knit up it has a very satisfying squish to it. The project is worked with only 2 yarns, one that is a solid colour, and the other that stripes all by itself. The yarns are carried up the side, so you don’t have to do any tedious cutting and weaving in every time you change colours. Basically, the yarn does all the work, but you get all the glory!
