Damaged Goods/Problems with your Order
We inspect all orders before they are shipped, but if for any reason you received your order damaged or there is a problem, please contact us immediately and we will work to remedy the problem: email@example.com. Often we are able to remedy your problem without your having to to to the trouble of returning your order.
Please see below for details on how to ship your return. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can only offer you an exchange or store credit. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
The following types of goods are exempt from being returned and can not be returned:
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products (patterns)
- Sale items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Exchanges/Store Credits (if applicable)
Unfortunately, we can not offer refunds, but we do offer exchanges or store credits. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
If you are approved, then your return will be processed, and a store credit (gift certificate) or exchange will be granted, within a certain amount of days.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be retunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned.
Shipping/How to Make a Return
Before making a return, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will give you a return confirmation number.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Knit-O-Matic, c/o Returns, 1382 Bathurst St, Toronto Ontario, M5R 3J1, Canada. Please include the following:
- Specify whether you prefer an Exchange or Store Credit.
- Include a copy of of your original receipt or proof of purchase.
- Include your name, address, phone number and email address.
- Return confirmation number.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
