Yarn Options
1. Berroco Vintage DK: 1 ball each 2185 Tide Pool (MC) and 2116 Dove (CC)
Berroco Vintage DK is a double knitting weight yarn that's great for just about everything: babies, kids, men, blankets, afghans, etc. It is machine washable, soft, easy to work with and comes in a spectrum of great colours, both solid and heathered. It's a blend of wool and high-end synthetic fibres, but it isn't shiny (or squeaky), and doesn't feel acrylicy. If you're looking for more colours or smaller balls, check out Berroco Vintage Baby - the same great yarn but in a different size ball.
2. Berroco Remix Light: 1 ball each MC and CC
If you're looking for a completely wool-free option, try Berroco Remix Light. Berroco Remix Light is a super comfortable multi-seasonal yarn. It's super soft, light, breathable, machine washable, and it's made in France from an eco-friendly blend of 100% recycled fibres.
If you want to use a fun variegated, multi-coloured yarn try Berroco Comfort DK. It's a super soft and comfortable blend of very high-quality synthetic fibres and is both machine wash and dryable.
